Offroad riding and competitions

Enduro schools

All these enduro schools allow riders to bring their own bikes, or you can hire an enduro bike for your day.

Geraint and Dylan Jones run the Yamaha Offroad Experience.

Ady Smith runs KTM in North Wales.

The Mick Extance Experience is also in North Wales near Lake Vyrnwy.

Enduros and other competitive events

Trail bike rallies are ideal for the first time competitor, being aimed at the leisure trail or enduro rider. Hare and hounds are a shorter day’s riding but are more demanding in terrain.

The Hafren Dirt Bike Club organise one or two a year: the main one being the Hafren Rally in October. The club also run British Championship enduros.

MWTRA organise plenty of hare and hounds and enduros of a more challenging nature than the Hafren Rally.

The Rhayader Club organise hare and hounds and enduros.

WOR Events organise enduro events for all levels of rider in North Wales and England

There is a problem with riders practicing in forests and moorland used for enduro competitions. This is illegal, and the Police are active in these areas.
