Marianne, Colin and Lucie
All the family ride, both road and offroad, solo and sidecar. Colin and Marianne have more than 30 years experience, and their daughter Lucie has been riding since she was aged 10. She got a road bike as soon as she was 17, and rode a 250 single down through France to Italy with her father a few weeks after passing her test.
Colin has a Moto Guzzi Stelvio for road and easy trail, a Morini Kanguro and a Benelli Tornado Tre. Bit of a Italian bias there! He enjoys touring on the Guzzi and does the occasional track day on the Benelli. Before becoming professional guides, Colin and Marianne organised trail bike rallies for the Diamonds Motorcycle Club, and they still assist at events organised by the Hafren Dirt Bike Club.
Marianne has a Kawasaki GPZ500 for the road. In the past she has competed in road racing and enduros, both solo and sidecar, with her daughter Barbara as passenger. Barbara also rides, and granddaughter Sophia has just begun. In 2019 she decided to try flat track for the first time, and entered Dirtquake. In order to learn some skills, she, Barbara and Sophia attended a speedway day.
